Florida requires that the interests of every abused and neglected child be represented by a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in court. Having a GAL is an immeasurable help to these children. However, without adequate public funding, there aren’t enough Guardian Advocates.

Epic Night Run is excited to sponsor Voices for Children as part of their 5k event in Tampa, Florida on April 29th.

VFC’s ultimate goal is to provide advocates for 100% of the abused, neglected, and abandoned children so that their voices are heard and they are placed into a safe and loving new home.

Voices for Children provides financial support to Guardian Advocates, volunteer recruitment, and training opportunities for staff, volunteers, and board members. They also help increase awareness of the importance of the work of GALs and the services they provide to dependent children.
